Boilerline: Critical Pressure - DevLog #9


Hey Hey!

Aaaand welcome back to Boilerline once again. We've been going at polish for this past week (Our entire feature set is implemented - yippie!), and it's been treatin' our game just right.

Images say a thousand words, so let's keep it visual:

Our game feels and looks better than ever. Your controller rumbles as you shoot down hordes, your turrets can now go from broken to absolutely overpowered (along with matching visuals!), and the tutorial is finally done and dusted.






We have Jan, therefore the particles are particulating (surely that's a word). There's now a gorgeous sandstorm flying across along with matching tumbleweed:



And thanks to Adriaan, as you may have noticed, our environment in general looks lovelier than ever:


Just look at that sandy ground. Yum.

Thanks to the combined efforts of Justin and Jan we have also acquired brand-new item models, textures, and particles, to make 'em as distinguishable as possible. Looks at these pretty lil' things:


Our audio is getting better and better thanks to Gauvin, and thanks to Seppe our game also now has less bugs than ever! Time to celebrate. Well, I guess it's another week 'til that.
